Spring break

This past week Todd and I have been on spring break from work. We got lucky and had great weather all week! I think we made pretty good use of our break -- a (very few) things done around the house, some time out in the sun with friends, golf, and a trip to the rodeo with Will. We took him to the petting zoo so he could check out the animals (so don't worry Nebraska fam, he's not completely deprived!:)

Peek a boo!

Will has found a new trick this week! As he was walking around the family room last night (which is pretty much ALL he does now...) he pulled out a blanket that we haven't used in months (mostly because I can't remember the last time he sat still long enough to be on or in a blanket...). He then started his own little game of peek a boo with us -- which had he and the two of us laughing hysterically. Since then he has started peek a booing through any and every thing he can find -- a personal favorite is the baby wipe while you are trying to clean him up after dinner.

Of course I waited way too long to go and get the camera, so this video doesn't quite capture the moment, but it will have to do for now...enjoy!

February

Not gonna lie, we are not sad to see February go in this house! It was a long month of Will trying to get about 6 teeth, fight a virus, and eventually go to war with an ear infection -- and I think the ear infection won! But as we head into March we are all feeling much better and our little smiley guy is back in full force. The day after our ear drama was over Will let go and took his first unassisted step! Since then he has been getting more and more brave ... I don't think it's long now (yikes!) We'll try to get a little video of the brave little man posted, so check back -- because that really is the most excitement we have to offer around here! :)
