We're cute!

If I do say so myself, we're pretty cute! We had one year pics taken on Friday and the photographer has posted a little preview of them on her blog. A Southern Saturday

Not only has Will had his grandma around all weekend to spoil him, but he also got to experience his first crawfish boil! I'm sure no one is surprised that he enjoyed himself thoroughly. We let him taste some crawfish (which he LOVED!) and he got to have his first experience in the pool. Neither adventure slowed him down in the least...he took them in stride like he had done them forever. I think it will be an eventful summer around here!

I have been promising that I would post the little guy on the move, and here it is! He is everywhere these days -- definitely time for the gate on the stairs! Literally overnight he went from wanting us to hold his hand and walk him everywhere to pushing away our hand to prove he can do it himself (where he got this independence we'll never know. :)) He's gotten even faster and much more sure of himself even since this video was taken -- but here's a little teaser for all of you -- better schedule a visit to see him in full action!
